Hi All! I stumbled on this video by Bishop T.D. Jakes about The Power of Thought".

Hi All! I had to share this author with you. I just finished her book Belief Re-patterning. Take a listen as she shares how the book came about.
Interesting. I'm all for affirmations, but if you don't change the emotion tied to a given incidence or situation, your inner voice is not going to accept the change. I'm going to do a review of the book on Monday. We're coming to the last week of my giveaway for the $25.00 gift certificate. You can still enter here
Hi All! Today's Sunday Motivation and Inspiration shares the concrete steps you have to take to manifest your best life.
How are you realizing your purpose? Are you just visualizing and praying for what you want? As the video highlights you have to take concrete laser focused ACTION. Without action all your visualizing and praying will be for nothing. Jesus said , "Pick up your bed and walk!" Wanting, dreaming and praying are worthless without action to back them up. Hi All! Today's Sunday inspiration and motivation comes from my youngest daughter. The Y generation has not had the freedom to walk to school and play in
the street as my boomer generation did. This generation also did not
have recess. A fact I still think is just plain wrong. When my kids were younger I had us all enrolled in belly dancing classes before we moved to Arizona, because of my skeletal issues. The eight years we have been in Arizona my activities have been severely curtailed because of my health. Yet My baby who had never so much as tried to dance set out to find her sport.
Baby girl doing Circus yoga about 4 years ago.
Baby girl is smart as a whip. Her teachers love her and always ask if I can send them twenty more like her. She is a very good student. Yet she realized that there must be balance in one's life. So baby girl (Fifteen this year) set out to find her sport. First up was volleyball in middle school. Not good. This generation also did not have recess. A fact I still think is just plain wrong. Next baby girl tried track. Not good. I have to give her credit she did not quit no matter how many times she came in last. An interesting aside, I would be cheering like a trained seal when she came in last. I also cheered for the other kids who came in last. One such incident, one of her teammates came over and gently told me the kid was not on their team. I said okay and kept cheering. She asked why was I still cheering for the kid. I responded how would you feel if you were dead last. She and the other kids who heard the conversation started cheering the last kid on in each race. You could see the visual change on the last kids face when we started cheering them on that the could do, it keep running. Those were the quietest parents I have ever seen in my life. Yes, I was an anomaly being the only Black parent in the stands. Thankfully the season ended. Then she had to make a decision to try out for pom or cheer at her new high school. She went with pom. When we walked in the way the coach looked at us, I new Baby girl had a snowballs chance in hell of making the team. Before you try and challenge me on this one, I've been Black 58 years, so yes I know when I'm encountering racism. She didn't make it and I talked her through it. I don't think baby girl remembers her older sister being on the church cheer team. Yet, she discovered cheer on Youtube. Baby girl became the energizer bunny to try out for a private gym. She set up an exercise regime and faithfully followed it, tried out and made the junior team. She was a backstop base. Her flyer's loved her. The one time her flyer fell the person coaching had told them to hold their spot and her flyer fell. Baby girl's flyer had to calm her down. Baby girl swore no matter what her flyer would never hit the the ground, and they didn't. My being hit in November 2012 ended that.
Now at the end of ninth grade she tried out for cheer at her high school which was also less expensive. She went through the three days of practice and then try outs. I said a prayer that however it turned out she would be okay with the decision. She walked through the door and said Mommy I didn't make it. I went into Mommy mode and held out my arms to hug her. She came to me and put her head on my shoulder and after a minute said, "You're hugging the newest member of the varsity cheer team". She got me!
Baby girl knows grades have to stay at the level she is now (3.3). She has a long haul to be a reconstructive and plastic surgeon. So my take away is no matter, what follow your dreams. You will reach your goals or something better. So what is your takeaway and how have you kept going to reach a goal. Please share by leaving a comment.
Hi All! Do you believe you can change your reality? Share your thoughts in a comment after watching the video.
I put a great deal of store in the subject of this video. In 2000 I was told by an orthopedic specialist that in 10 years I would be in a wheelchair with my head bent on my bosom. I said thank you fired him and found doctors (Naturopathic, Rheumatology, nutritionist, nuclear medicine, etc) who believed like me that this prediction did not have to be my future. Well this is year 13 and I may be rickety at times but I 'm not in a wheelchair, my head is unbowed
and I'm still chugging along. What has been your take away from the video? Leave a comment and share. Michelle
Hi All! Hope you're in work mode, I haven't been. Seems that I've been sabotaging myself by lettings others negativity get the best of me. So now my little pity party has come to an end and its time to hop on that success train. All aboard. Smile I made my intentions to find a video for this Sunday and this is what the Universal revealed. Enjoy.
For me it hit home and highlighted that I have to step up my energy level. The same level of energy that got me through two degrees and a bar exam while working my way through school. So what was your take away from this video? Leave a comment and share. Today, Sunday, April 14 is the last day for the Amazon and Etsy cards giveaway so sign up and share with your family and friends here Have a great Sunday, Michelle
Hi All! Today's Sunday motivation and inspiration is brought to you by Water For Life and entitled First World Problems read by Third World People.
When I watched this video I realized how we must look to the rest of the world. Didn't that just make you thankful for all that you have? We are able to take care of our basic necessities. Our problems seem trivial in so many ways (unless you are homeless, battling some life threatening illness, etc, compared to 90 percent of the rest of the world.
Where do you stand on the issue. Is it fair to even compare life in America to other countries? Did this motivate you to not stress over the little things and focus on the big issues in your life?
Leave a comment telling me what your position is on this issue.
Hi All! Here's my Sunday inspiration video. Love the visuals used to drive the point home as well as the people speaking. Take a look and leave a comment below telling me what your think of the video.

Hi All! This is the beautiful story of one who did not accept the diagnosis and refused to GIVE UP.
I was truly inspired by this and felt his pain. Too often patients are written off and we accept the diagnosis. The biggest idea from this video is to at least try. You should not just accept what you're told, doctors are not the Creator. They are only giving you their medical opinion based on their limited knowledge. That is the best they can do. There is a higher power you can tap into it or you can give up. The choice is yours. What do you have to lose? Me, I never give up. If you have your own story to share or just what to leave a comment feel free to do so. Thanks, Michelle
HI All! Today's Sunday inspiration is a video I ran across while surfing Youtube.com .The video called to me, so I stopped and watched. The coach in the video hits all the points for entrepreneurs as will as sports players. You can't give up.You just have to keep pressing forward.
What did you get from the video? I got perseverance; Help those who help you; Giving your business your all;
Hi All! Today's Inspiration is to " Never Judge A Book By It Cover" brought to you by the very interesting TEDX speaker Loy Machedo.
OK, tell the truth. What were you first impressions when Loy came on the screen? Did your perception change as you watched the video? Had it changed by the end of the talk?
All too often we categorize people by race, dress, appearance, tattoos, all of which may or may yield very little info about that person. I know in America we are socialized to this process. I'd also appreciate my non-American viewers weighing in on this topic. Loy is one of my new Linkedin connections and we have had some interesting dialogue on several topics. I'm looking forward to your comments.
Today's inspiration is by Louise Hay. Ms. Hay was in the forefront of the Self help movement. I was first introduced to her through her book "Heal Your Life Body A-Z, The mental causes to Physical Illness and the Way to Overcome It". She has been a great inspiration to me to not accept the doctor's decree that, "I would be in a wheelchair with my head been on my breast in ten years." Well this is year twelve (12) and I'm still NOT in a wheelchair. My head is STILL unbowed.
Thank you Ms Hay, Dr.Pavner, Mark Lipinski and Big Mike Tate. They were all on my team and believed that a wheelchair was not my future.
I thank them all and may the Universe give them a might blessing for all the folks like me they have helped.
What or who has been your inspiration? Who has shown you that you didn't have to accept the prediction? Whether it was about a skill, a learning experience or a talent. Please share and leave a comment to help others. Thanks,
Hi All! I was looking for an inspirational video to highlight for this Sunday, so I made my intentions and went to Youtube. I typed in inspiration videos and this one grabbed me. I had never seen this video as much as I have surfaced Youtube. So I attracted this video because I didn't want to use a big name or an out right selling video (yes there is a plug at the end). I really enjoyed this video and I hope you do to. How you use the Law of Attraction. Or do you?
Leave your comments and let me know what you think of the video. Remember today at midnight is the last day for free shipping from my blog.
Hi All! Sunday in my day for motivation and inspiration. Today's topic,"Success : How Bad Do You Want It!". Here's a great video that I really like about this topic of being willing to give your all to succeed.
I was impressed by the analogy given of how bad you had to want your success. I remember when I decided to quit working and go back to school full-time. Out of state no less. Everyone thought I had a screw loose, except my Daddy. He asked if I was serious, I said , Yes. He paid my rent so I didn't have that to worry about. I was determined to go straight through the three years of undergrad and the three years of law school. When my friends were partying I was working 36 hours from Friday to Monday morning tracking air freight shipments, 12 hours on and 12 hours off. The building was isolated and I was the only one there. My supervisor would come in the wee hours of Sunday morning with her gun and some of her friends, they would hang out so I could sleep. I didn't know if there had been a problem at the site. She didn't say and I didn't ask.
I knew I had to finish what I had started and nothing and no one was going to stop me. I pledged a sorority in my sophomore year. I came off line and and ran for Student Government Association. I won. I was the only the second female SGA President and the first junior in the school's 125 year history. When I went to law school, the first week we were told, "Look to your right and look to your left, most of you won't be here in three years. I went up to the dean and introduced my self and said, "See you in three years". An I did. I worked through law school as well. How bad do you want it? What have you given up to be successful?
What are the boundaries you will not cross to be successful? Me, I insisted on standing on my feet and not on my back to complete my mission.
Can't wait to hear your comments. Looking forward to them.
Hi All! Today is Sunday and I wanted to provide motivation to get the week and the rest of your life off to a good start. I 'm going to make Sunday my motivation and inspiration post day. So here's today's motivator the always true to himself Will Smith, topic, "Your Thoughts Are Physical!".
I love Will Smith and the Life he has carved out for himself.
Hope you enjoyed this video. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on his topic.
I was on one of my membership sites and posting my cowrie shell video when I saw this video by Ms. Jae Henderson of http:imagoodwoman.com. Here's the video
I had to share this as I was just this Friday thinking about how you start down one path and the Creator will send you down a detour. I love her way of explaining how the detours are a benefit. Check out her T-shirts. I'm getting one.
I'm about to embark on a change that is a major shift for me and it's always hard to move what you've been doing to the side, back, where ever to make way for the new. Smile.
We have all had to make these detours, what has been your most memorable detours and what was the outcome?
