I am so proud of my youngest. She made the Millionaire Reader's Club. Two years ago her teacher and I were racking our brains trying to get her to read. Turns out she wouldn't read because she thought I would stop reading to her as I have done since she was in my womb. ( Think it was the shared closeness that she was afraid of losing). Once she got past that (I had to keep reading to her, but she had to read pages to me as well) she took off. Now she has reads two or three books at a time. ( I am a reader) .
Now, I have to stop calling her baby girl, she reminds me. She is twelve this year and going through the angst of being a tweener, although she is handling it quite well. She can't wait to turn thirteen next year. I remind her of how her older sister went through the same changes at 18, 19, and 20. She turns twenty-one this year and as she says she can finally be an adult. She has been self supporting and on her own since she was 18. She reminds me that you can't do much between 18-20 as she thought, so she is really looking forward to twenty-one. LOL.

Moving. Don't you just hate it.
I hate moving with a passion. In my case I'm not going to have a choice I have to move so that everything is on one floor. I'd want to hear about surgery or anything involving a scapel. LOL. I admit it, I'm chicken.
Moving is so disruptive, yet it does give you the opportunity to declutter and streamline. You know how you hoarders can be. I'm going to use this and ten years later you still haven't used it. I started the end of last year decluttering and getting rid of things my I really wasn't going to use in my art.
Now I have to tackle my 11year old dear daughter's room. She is very artistic and can take anything and make art out of it. She has an awesome design eye. This is going to take all my diplomatic skills to get this done.
Her favorite store is having a sale, a carrot instead of a stick. Hmmm. Stay tuned kids.

Gorgeous African Amethyst and Suglite
I loved making this African Amethyst necklace. I sold a lot of this style necklace I called them Circlets because they encircle the neck and you didn't have to worry about a clasp. I handcoiled the center sterling silver bead which is about two inches wide. Very comfortable to wear, will adjust to you. $40.00
Continuing on the purple theme, this is a beautiful purple large faceted suglite set. You don't see stone of this quality much. I kept it simple to show off the quality of the stone. All wire and ear hooks are 14kt gold filled.
The set is $120.00 and I will include an adjustable chain with it.

More Destash Necklaces
Here are two more pieces that were in the box. The Tigereye is unisex and one for women. Guys would come up to my booth and say bet you don't have anything for men. It was a bet I won many times. They were so surprised I had something for them that they liked.
This is a Tigereye set that I sold for $120. Necklace is 20 inches long and bracelet is 8 inches. The stone is gorgeous and it looked great against a T-shirt.
This next is a Serpentine necklace for her the color is so soft and feminine. I have a few stones left so I can make earrings to go with it. $60.00 for the set. The necklace is 18 inches long.
If you would like to purchase any of the above my email for paypal is at the top of the blog. FREE SHIPPING.

Destash Jewelry Earrings
I started out making jewelery as a beader many years ago. I moved to wire, but I have always made a lot of earrings. (Thank you ladies of Kindred Souls Women's Coop for teaching me how to do production work.) I would sit down and made a hundred pair of earring and freak my older daughter out. (Smile) I will be showing pictures of a bag of earrings I found that I had forgotten about. They are all on sterling silver or 14kt gold fill wire and ear hooks. They are old stone so they are of a quality you don't see often; orby and spotted ocean jasper, aquamarine, tigereye wave beads etc. Here's the first set.
Tigereye Wave Beads on Sterling Silver. These are a great everyday pair. The stone has been cut to create a wave effect in these l 1/2 inch stones. I once did a show at Cobo Hall Convention Center and the first three hours I sold 15 pr of these earrings. $20.00pr.
These little cuties are faceted black onyx on the left with pearls. Dotty Ocean Jasper Squares cut on a diagonal with pearls . Both pair are on Sterling silver wire and earhooks. Both one inch long. $20.00 per pair.

The Birthing of WireQueen #1
I'v always been accused of having one foot on the earth plane and the other in the etheral. This piece highlights that. LOL. I love this piece I have used its image for many things. I dreamed her and she came into creation almost as if willing herself from the etheral.
She birthed herself dictating the stones, the shape and even the size of the wire used. I was just a midwife on this creation.
