Name This stone and win $10.00 Gift Certificate

My photography skills do not do this stone justice. I can't remember the name of the stone, it look like a flower. I'm told it grows from another stone as if its flowering. Beautiful shimmer in the gray ridge as if it has thousands of sparkle points.

I have a $10.00 gift certificate to the first person  who can name the stone and give me a link to its properties.

Make sure you leave me an email with your comment.

Another Gemstone from My Stash Mexican Boulder Opal

This is another one of my long held stones from my private stash. This was sold to me as Mexican Boulder Opal. I fell in love with the blue zigzag down the middle. This stone is slightly larger than the Dragon's Blood. The Opal is about 7/8" wide by 1 1/2 inches long.

This one will make its debut next week.

Dragon's Blood Stone

This is a stone that I purchased over 8 maybe 10 years ago. The seller called it "Dragons Blood", which I imagined dragons blood to actually looks like.I don't know if this is a naturally occuring stone or a treatment. I didn''t care, I was fascinated by the coloring. I know how I want to sculpt it.  I'm thinking an olde English wire design or Viking. Problem is I can't decide what metal to use, whether copper, sterling silver or steel. What do you think would work best to show off the stone?

I will post  the finished piece after the drawing for the midwife healers is over.
