Guitar Playing Tauregs

Last night we attended a artist opening and fundraiser for at Method Art Gallery (formerly Artspace). This photographer had gone to the Sahel in West Africa and photographed the Tuareg people who had discovered the electric guitar (See Scottsdale Republic 9/16/2010). They incorporated the electric guitar into their music. The sound was beautiful. Per the photographer, "There's like one guitar for six guys and they all shared". A lesson we all could learn. The photographs showed the Tauregs and the beauty of the desert.
