STREAMPUNK ARTIST at Scottsdale Artfest

I took my daughter to the Scottsdale Artfest this weekend. We were looking for one of the trolley drivers display who is an artist. We happened upon this artist. His name is Dale Mathis and he lists himself as a sculptor. I don't "get" steampunk, but his work blew me away. These are two of his Pieces.

Movie Mania The Box

I took my dd to see the Box (This was not the first choice, but that movie had already started.) to celebrate a great report card. Talk about a moral delima! The premise is that if you press the button someone somewhere will die. Thus I was po'd because they were replaying the Adam and Eve bit a little to heavy, by only showing women hitting the button. The movie was downright creepy and predictable because you knew the mothers were going to sacrifice themselve for their children. The Daddys were only too willing to do the deed to "save" the children.
